Loomis

Finally bought myself a Creative Illustration by Andrew Loomis book. I almost gave up on trying to find a decent and cost efficient edition. Then I forgot about the book all together. Fortunately my boss brought it up one day recently. That peaked my interest again and now I have one. Hopefully reading through it will help out.

1947 1st edition still with the dust jacket. Woo hoo.

Bailout!

2008, American Dialetic Association word of the year, bailout. If I had known this, I would have used this word more. Bailout. Doesnt seem like a good word of the year. Some of the runner ups: maverick, change, and something the Association liked to call Obama-fications. Words that start with Obama and end with whatever you like. Obama-mama, Obama-nation, Obama-licious, etc... So maybe bailout wasnt such a bad choice.

Purchased a new 2009 calender yesterday. Only about a week late. Also bought a book, Comic Book Nation.

If you want to see some really interesting comic book covers from back in the day, its worth a look through. And for some reason I grabbed a Walt disney book.

I wouldnt know any better.

If I had a normal weekend it would be getting over today. But since I am abnormal and work everyday I get no weekends. No big loss really. Was a very interesting Friday and Saturday though. Had a good time with everyone from the shop on Friday night. I did pretty much nothing else. Besides upsetting someone. But that will be resolved so its not a worry. But I suppose I should be worried. Oh well...
